What kind of businesses or projects will be supported?
The facility is a one-of-its-kind initiative to promote the access of distributed renewable energy in distant rural and semi-urban, and obscure areas of the country to generate livelihoods. The program supports a wide range of businesses and projects in PURE space including, but not restricted to, the following applications.
Eligibility Criteria
The proposed business or project must be focused on developing productive uses of renewable energy for rural farm and non-farm income generation.
The proposed business or project must have been technologically proven at least in pilot-stage operations.
The project developer/project proponent should not be blacklisted by any government or public sector agency in India.
